I don't get you guys who clearly know this series got axed and rate it a 1 because of it. it would never have a satisfying ending and that's not the fault of the creator, especially of an adaptation. This ending reads like the comic it was serialized in went under, which doesn't seem to be the case. I guess LN publishers didn't want to split their budget on this and the anime at the same time. Hate to break it to you but adaptations are most of the market in manga, anime, and even Light Novels, which you can check on the chapters page.

I really like this story and I guess I'll got watch the anime and see how its going. That's at least a fully planed production so it won't just end in a sudden way.

Never a fan of go read the light novel endings especially when the anime is currently airing (although the animation is pretty poor in some parts like them walking on the stairs in episode 4). A shame that we won't get see Zem get his reputation restored & also really sucks that Curran won't get her revenge on her former party. Either way I hope the artist will do another title unless they wanna focus on their Futa elf manga/hentai. Thanks for translating this to the end.

Axe or promo, whatever you call it, manga just did up to LN vol 2 out of the 4 currently out, LN is further ahead of the WN too anyway (think LN diverged too from WN at LN 4th)

Well, this one was cancelled...

I did find it lost its footing when the fusion was first introduced, because that essentially meant they started trusting each other (which is the opposite of the title), but it kinda picked up the pace with the fight between Nick and Leo. Now it just ends like that?

I'm not THAT invested in this series to continue reading if it's not going to be convenient, so I guess this is the end of my interested in this story. Farewell Ningen Fushin, I'm sure I'll recall having read you someday...
