April 1st is almost upon us!
If you aren't familiar with our April Fool's shenanigans, check out last year's banner and cover advertisements!With that being said, it's time to open up our April Fool's submission contest!
You can submit your ad in these two formats: Banner style (wide) or Cover style (portrait).
We won't enforce a specific size ratio, just try to match the sizes of the examples mentioned earlier in this post.
We will be placing these two types of ads were they fit best on the site, so keep this in mind when creating your ad.
The rules for this event are quite simple:
1. Your ad should relate to a title available on MangaDex. Link your title in your submission or at least mention it.2. We will not pick ads that are full-blown pornography, contain spoilers, shock content, have any sort of fast flashing light/colors, or contain any sort of AI generated content. We will, however, allow mildly lewd ads and shit-talking/mocking of the title you have chosen.
Your submission may be animated, but note that we will not display a 20 MB GIF on the website, so make sure to compress your file to a maximum of 3 MB.
To submit your ad, just reply to this thread with your submission or DM @Grogzilla or @kouyo on the forums with your submission. Make sure you upload your ad to a public image sharing service (such as Imgur et. al.), and remember to either mention the title or include a link to it. We will not accept submissions that do not meet these requirements.
The deadline for this event is March 31st (UTC+0), after which this thread will be locked and we will not accept new submissions anywhere else.
