If Tabata is acting this way because of the little shit blackmailing her, and continues to do so, the story won't be worth reading anymore. Great job, author. Create a female lead who considers herself worth far less than a pile of shit and then have some asshole kid rub her nose in it making her feel even worth less.

I don't get why people thought he'd be a mastermind blackmailer when he's clearly just a minor character.

I am sure that you have the advantage of having knowledge of future chapters, but, frankly, that's irrelevant for what I have as of yet seen. I am certainly not "overestimating" the impact the little shit had on Tabata. She immediately buckled under the pressure of blackmail from that annoying little shit. And who ever said that he is "a mastermind blackmailer?" As far as Tabata is concerned since she has zero self-esteem and not quite as many brain cells, he doesn't have to be anything close to being a mastermind, all he has to be, and is, is a fucking annoying little manipulative dickhead and, voila, he's got her wrapped around his little finger. Or did I just imagine all that in the last chapter?

You know, it’s actually refreshing to have such an honest, naive, and pure male character (and this is coming from a guy). He doesn’t understand the implications of inviting a girl to the house while the parents are out. He doesn’t seem to see anyone as unattractive or otherwise, but instead treats to everyone as equals and gets to know them. The world would be a much nicer place if more people acted like that. Instead of caring so much about social status, prestige, physical appearance, and etc. Plus he’s so honest with his intentions instead of being roundabout and is shy like he doesn’t know what romance even is; it’s like he hasn’t been corrupted by the outside world. Compare him to say the popular girl who tries (and fails) to be manipulative and is very not honest with her intentions. Actually, are there any women like this? Asking for a friend
