The chapter storyboards by Murata actually don't present her death as erotic, with her making much uglier expressions as her neck is crushed. The added ryona points to the final product are due to the illustrator Ifuji Shinsen's taste.

Too bad the Gangan Joker magazine wasn't lewd enough at the time to allow for actual nudity in the series up to this point...
