This was published on Jump+ under their Jump Rookies label. It is, for all intents and purposes, an indie webcomic that Shueisha decided to put on their site because it got good numbers.

Which meant that the entire pace of the series was decided by the author. Unlike Rent-A-GF, where the author has an editing team, assistants, and all the other bells and whistles they need
