@TheAmokz Oh sure, you can act all holier-than-thou, on top of your moral-high-ground with your head stuck in your ass, OR you can learn to reason instead of being an ignorant child that jumps straight to offending people. For your information, I have told my opinion to people of various 'minorities' that were affected by slavery in an academic capacity, and they had a real debate with me on the topic. you don't even know my views, only assume you do based on a short statement a half year prior to your little outcry. for your information, when taken into context, 'white' people are also a minority when separated in the same degree as all other ethnicities thanks to a new generation wave of political correctness BS, and in many countries, they were not the ones owning, running and abusing the slave trade, you would find that was actually the so-called fellow countrymen that suffered from slavery, same nationality, same ethnicity.
Slavery was ABUSED due to the greed of individuals with the most wealth, that is why it is abhorred and hated around the world, it is also why it has shown itself unsuitable to humanities chosen path of progression and is being actively tackled to remove it. the world seems to want to be more "democratic", it wants to be "centrist" yet lean "to the left" in most matters political. HOWEVER, trends around the world show many societies are once again favouring ideologies tending towards "the right", even the so called democracies in the world are not true democracies but you would have to study something before you get the privilege of debating with me.
slavery was a matter of survival for those with no other options, and having some delusions in your head that you know/could do better in such a situation is far more offensive to those who suffered it, than my comment on the concept of the system as a whole. I didn't target individuals, I talked about slavery as a concept, you're the lowlife who chose to drag suffering people into your argument.
and guess what... "evil" is also another concept, the value and attribution varying by the individual that chooses to define it. you apparently find it evil I can use my free speech to share an opinion on something you don't agree with, where as I don't find anything evil because the concept is a complete joke, as if things can be so cleanly and simply defined into right or wrong, for all individuals regardless of upbringing, background or personal views. The world is a grey fog, there is no white, there is no black.
you probably consider "Christianity" to be considered a path of "good", yet in doing so you would ignorantly overlook the holy crusades and slaughter of "witches" or "pagans" that occured in the name of these churches "god".
