Huh!? Wh-WHO IS THIS CHARMING LITTLE DINGUS!?

This isn't the Zuo Le that Invitation to Wine sold me. Did I miss that much by not reading all of Vernal Winds? I read up to when he meet Waii Fu on the medic's office, and he was still a thick-headed, no-nonsense, inconsiderate idiot.

If you read the "Here A People Sows" event, he's a very earnest but dweebish guy. He tries really hard at his job but you take him outta the job, you can tell he's 19 years old.

No, Here a People Sows I get, because that's him getting humbled at least, makes sense he'd mellow out a bit after getting punished for his inadequacies.

But it feels so weird that we got two whole events of him just being so obnoxious, and then one where they try to rebuild his image into something actually likeable. I didn't feel an ounce of it during either, even during the short bits that aren't as serious on his talks with his uncle.

The way he deals with everyone who isn't a Sui has plenty of leeway. It's just that the regulators have very strict and specific rules for the Sui that he probably treats it like nuclear safety.

Outside of that, he's clearly more open than Irene, and plenty more awkward about it.
