Did anyone ever notice that the men in this series... are really bottom heavy? They are THICC XD.

The tech in this world is very advanced, they can make quasi-sentient androids, they can make designer babies (not entirely perfect but they can), there are a slew of other technologies they have too that are very advanced, and they can make cyborgs, there have been a few people like that.
If I remember right... the designated "caretaker"(bodyguard) of Maki is one, and the aides from the minister of Sapporo seem to be cyborgs too, but I think they are more combat-oriented, Maki's nanny has said she has a combat body.
And as the US here seems to have been able to keep a lot of their industry intact, I presume their advancements are even greater.

That doesn't explain the inconsistent page sizes.
I feel like the president is more akin to mental model, similar to how Kotono was implied to be? Not 'android' but most definitely not human most likely.
