I'm not opposed to pitching in, official translations dried up years ago. It's funny, I made a big gap on my shelf for more volumes which remain empty to today.

By some (public) transparency on rates, schedule and remaining funding amount would be nice.

Just a little nitpick...at the start, "Observer" is Hibiki's title and role aboard ship, isn't it? Shouldn't the Lieutenant have addressed her by title/rank first, and not arranged it as if Observer was a surname?

First she ignores the "considerate words" and complains about the lack of those, then she proceeds to speak out loud in an unsecured location top secret information (speaking about him as if he were alive, when it's not yet disclosed).

Same here. It's probably the reason why I fell in love with ships. Although I must admit the story is a bit convoluted sometimes as there are may things happening at once.
Back in... sixth grade? I wrote a paper on Bismarck. The ship, not the person it's named after. So I don't remember exactly when I got interested, but probably not much earlier than that.

Sadly, the official release in my country stop at the 8th volume.
As far as I've seen, it's blocked in my country.
