Art quality

Is it just me or do the art in Japanese mangas almost always get better over time (for example, look at early Slam Dunk vs near the end of its serialization, or One Piece, or basically any manga really...), but on the other hand, those Chinese visual novels always get worse over time?

not every chinese manhua gets quality drop but yea most of them do
apotheosis(700),martial peak(900+),battle through the heaven(or any other in the same universe) has consistent art quality from start untill now
(try these three you will not regret it)

Thanks, I’ll check them out. It just sucks when I invest so much time reading them and the art goes downhill so much...

Dont those china ones have hired artists. Doesnt the quality drop as a result of pay cuts or stuff or milking it to the last drop as opposed to manga in japan where the art probably improves cause the author can hire more assistants. It probably also has more incentive for the person that created the story themselves to make it the best they can. I am talking out of my ass
