Not sure but I've seen other entries where the manga ends in ch 80 , for example, and they marked it as completed at that chapter regardless of there being 5 whole side stories chapters after it.

Yeah, the rules are really unclear.
But usually, if the extra chapters are all compiled into a separate volume, the final chapter marking is in the actual final volume.
