Wow, he prepped the crap out of that grill all by himself. Way to go Shuuji!
Oh, and Miran was also in the chapter, acting pretty intense as if she wanted a quick nibble already. Is there a reason to worry?

It's actually pretty cute how they portray the senpai being nervous about confessing
that was the most notable detail for me. Instantly makes him not nearly as scummy; even being an "extrovert" in Shuuji's eyes, the senpai is still just a teenager like the rest of them, and ultimately will have struggles of his own to contend with.

In essense, it gives his character more depth, instead of being a cardboard-cutout "antagonist" who is simply there to throw obstacles in the way of the lead duo's romantic narrative while being one-dimensional in his portrayal. He's much more human, in showing that single panel, and it's a nice change of pace to what is often portrayed in series like this.

Since this manga gets updated every 100 years and I don't really remember the story anymore, could someone remind me why Miran likes Shuuji? I honestly don't recall the reason Miran likes Shuuji, other than the fact that they're engaged.

Uh, apparently the latest raw, ch 21, just got released, but it seems like that's the end. A shame.
Below are how the rest of the chapters go from what I can read in the raw.
Ch 19: MC tried to find Miran, asked her friends where she was, gave a speech to them, then went to her.
Ch 20: Senpai confessed to Miran, then flashback to why he likes her.
Ch 21: Miran answered she has someone she liked since a long time ago (see my other spoiler below).
Senpai asked her if it's MC and revealed that MC has been hiding and eavesdrop on his confession.
He berated MC's character, while telling her that MC isn't fit for her.
MC apologized and made a speech of how he likes her, and Senpai gave up.
Then we get a time skip where MC and Miran met up for a date. They sweared they'll be together forever, and that's it.

It's kinda lame...

I believe the previous chapters didn't give the answer, so it's a spoiler.

Apparently their families went on trips together in the past. She was anxious, So MC told her to hold hands so she didn't get lost.
That's it. It was 2 page flashback on the very last chapter.

Thanks for the reply; I have to say, the reasoning behind why she fell for him is pretty weak. The author could have put a bit more effort into it, given how simple it is.
