Firstly thanks for TL. Good job!

Secondly his parents suck oh my god. I'ma be suprised if they aren't at least partially responsible for his attitude and possible self-hate? (Ik its the girl in his past too but still) Maybe he really is just scared but definitely doesn't seem to really like himself all that much.

Thirdly... I think I like this series, not sure just binge read it. Maybe I'll wait till chapter 10 to drop it or not. It's like when I watched HxH till episode 100 and decided not to continue.
Yeah, I have to wonder the parents' parenting is like at this point. It was already crazy enough that they set up an arranged marriage for their severely introverted son, now they're practically forcing something to happen. They seemed so confident in their own son's shyness, but even if it's a micro percent of a chance, what if something did happen? Who would even take responsibility on that? Certainly, the MC would have to take some of it for taking the initiative, but not just his, but both of the main pairing's parents pushed for this. Does the girl's parents even know who their daughter's being engaged to? Are they really for this arranged marriage?

Bro I'd honestly be ashamed as a parent if he was my kid

There's no way I'm gonna raise kids that are this much of a pussy
So if your son did have the balls to put a baby in his girlfriend and succeeded, before marriage and perhaps too soon, would you as the parent take part of the responsibility and pay what's necessary for their wedding if their relationship's healthy enough? Or would you rather his girl does something more 'drastic' and you're willing to pay part of the procedure for that?

Don't get me wrong, I'd like a kid with as much confidence in himself as you do, but there's a difference between that and reckless foolishness while ignoring the consequences. I'd want my kid to be happy, certainly, but he'd better be damn well sure he's ready to commit himself once he decides something.

To answer your question, I'm not specifically talking about getting someone pregnant, I mean for him to have the confidence to at least interact with the opposite gender normally, it's actually embarrassing watching him spaz out over the smallest and normal things, it doesn't make sense

I’ll be honest this feels a lot less generic than I thought it would, mostly on the strength of its side characters, I think. I dunno it may just be imagined but I feel like the author has more play here to write a surprising sequence than we think, mostly if he decides to leverage MC’s parents and stalker-sensei as well as he seems to be setting up.

The parents may not have caused his condition but they did allow it to happen. There could have been intervention.

(See Ch1 Pg 32) It would appear that the parents have been acquainted for quite a while (the fathers are very close friends) and that the arranged marriage was from long ago. They would have canceled the engagement if he hadn't turned out this way.

The translation has places where it doesn't flow very smoothly. (There are also a few minor things like "have" when it should be "has" but those don't bother me much.) Overall it's a good translation, IMHO.

One example is page 16. If the stiltedness of it is trying convey formal speaking or something like that then it's not working for me.

"If we don't do something like this, you'll never get over it." "Your cowardice, that is."
would be more natural as
"If we don't do something like this" "you'll never get over your cowardice."

"What if something happens?"
Parents: "If you were someone who might do something, we wouldn't have the need to set this up in the first place."

Wish I also have divine intervention like that. I'm as beta as the MC.
