It has a cliffhanger ending and as ongoing, but is being presented as a one-shot. Something isn't right.

Edit: fixed now :D

Cheap drama, bland MC, and an obnoxious male love interest.

Plot: 6
Execution: 4
Potential: 5

Meh.

she is only bullied because she is more beautiful than the others. I hope the others die in their class

Back in my school violence was always the answer, when a fresh man transferred to my school for some reason (at the known time), he started getting bullied by some dude and his clique because he refused to share his games with him and a few other things. Eventually it got to the point where everyone in the same class blamed the kid for everything they did (they purposely stole things and left them in his desk) no one helped the dude, not even the teacher. One day however it went too far, someone actually ripped the kids backpack and scattered everything in front of the kid. I didn't get to hear much of it but apparently the kid knocked the bully out in one hit and started wailing on him, no one got him off the bully (because they were pansy's) and the bully was sent to the hospital. After that the kid was suspended for a while, and we got to hear the reason he was transferred here. Apparently the same thing happened in the other school the kid went to but the kid had a shorter fuse back then and regularly got suspended for fights (and then expelled). The class was literally poking a sleeping bear.

After that standing up for yourself became a regular thing in my school, this is why I always think that beating the shit out of your bully will always be the right thing, even if you get expelled. If you can't beat 'em bully them back (Trash their stuff, write on their desk, blame the for everything when you get in trouble, etc) show them that your not to be messed with, fuck "doing the better thing by not acting like them" or "laying low" that shit is what gets people continuous bullying. While yes, never bully someone weaker then you of course but you can bully your bully. They'll usually stop at the first sign of retaliation though.

Japanese school, public or private all the same. Bullying happen all the time. Somehow I feel so lucky of not being born as a Japanese. And I hate these kind of bitches who like to bully even in real life or fiction.

This was genuinely interesting, not gonna lie.

The male MC could use some more characterization beyond him being a stereotypical otaku, but it feels like he’s actually kind of genuine friends with the two most popular boys in class. I hope that’s the case, cause I like that a lot.

Goddamn, all this bullying actually hurt to watch. Probably not as bad as A Silent Voice, but those bitches need to stop. At least she has her family, but what the fuck.

I’m really intrigued about the whole scenario, and I’m curious as to where this will all go from here. I’ll be keeping watch of this one for now.

@zeronguyen Bullying happens everywhere, this just happens to take place in Japan.

She is being bullied, forced to confess to a chubby boy... she will develop a friendship with him? Or he will be another one to torment her, as soon as he discovers the plot?

I remember watching it and feeling like they were all victims, the bullys mother was the reason why the kid was the way she was. And none of the classmates could help Hina, I understood why Hina couldn't do anything and was basically helpless.. And so what, yes it was sad, what could Hina have done to prevent it? Hina is too kind to bully her classmate and her teacher cracked. I guess it provides an extremely realistic look on the issue of bullying, but.. when their are fuck tons of kids getting bullied every day and are too scared to stop the bully and stand up for themselves am I supposed to be sad for them? when a solution to stop it from happening is right in front of them? of course i'd help a kid even if the bully would start focusing on me but am I supposed ton sit there and endure until someone saves us like the substitute teacher saves Hina?. Yeah fuck no. Even if I would be sent to a institute for young criminals my ego wouldn't let me be looked down on by someone.

“Asahina Wakaba is a shy and slightly awkward girl. She is coerced by her classmates as a punishment game to confess to Iruma Haruto, the number one most hated boy in school. Though her relationship with Haruto starts out with an air of gloom for Wakaba, her depressing school life is dyed with color when she discovers that they share more in common than what she thinks.“

Crossposting synopsis here as well if people want an idea of where the story goes.

@Echonic who pays for the kid hospital bill, and why did the bully's parents not take any legal actions against him or against the school for allowing something to happen?

Bullied kids parents paid, the whole incident was covered up and if their were any legal actions going on back then, then they may have been expertly hidden because barely anyone knew what was going on, It was hard enough uncovering the kids past.
