You've been sold a lie on multiple fronts. The vast vast majority of kids put on puberty blockers go on to cross-sex hormones, so it's not just “time to decide” at all. It's route-confirming. Also, it's just not true that puberty blockers are reversible or effectless in any honest sense. Even those who come off them and don't procede with anything else are at risk from some serious negative effects. This is why so many European countries have banned or restricted this use of them.

Now that I have a nephew myself and am surrounded by young parents I really despise this timeline more than ever. How did a small radical group of cultist infiltrate academia to the point where a far left american ideology just spread around the world: children do not have a concept of gender nor a sexuality unless an adult introduced it into their life and such a person should be regarded with extrem prejudice. Children on their own can't even make a decision that last a day, not to mention one that last a lifetime.

I don't care what you do with you body once you reach adulthood but do not spread medical misinformation like " you can pause your puberty" so lightly. It's dangerous and irresponsable. You cells don't stop aging, and once you passed the age of puberty you will not grow/ develop in the same way any more. A body part is a body part. Your gender is how you act and identify. Your body affects how you conceptualize your gender, but if gender roles were not policed so by people who chronically can't mind they own business, that would matter less, and gender would cease to be relevant. Ain't nothing wrong with experimentation, unless "girly men" or "manly girls" is an existential threat to your worldview.
Let the world be weird. Kids should break gender roles if they want; they break everything else too!
