The art this time felt a little...static. Beautifully drawn and shaded, but static, which is a shame when there's music involved.
Indeed. She could make a lot of instruments, or maybe a bow to use on the stringed ones.

I was thinking the guest artist this time is likely someone with high technical linework skill, but issues with composition of scenes and shading.

Ones like this, while I didn't care for the style, does remind me to appreciate the skill of others more.

A piano would probably be easier to do than printing books from the ground up
Start out with a xylophone like instrument and move on to hammers hitting high tension strings on the piano later on.
It's basically the same principle. Strings of different length and a hammer hitting them to produce sounds... Or metal plates of different length and a wood mallet to hit them to produce sounds...
