You are wrong, a portion of profits does go back to the author. Also, not all "official sources" are poorly translated. I'd say the bad translations are in the minority, compared to fan translations.

@Kaiofficialone Vol 3 is being translated on bato.to , you can read it there or you may as well buy at least the missing volumes. Also, the entire series is 60+ chapters long, so if you think about it in this sense, 10 chapters missing is not that big of a deal, since we're probably gonna complete the manga without anymore skips.

Obviously that person isn't scanlating, and he wouldn't need to make that comment if he found rips, so what does that leave him?
