well she's more of a work acquaintance but i assume stuff with her mom came up and the news about moe dropping out (tho it worked for her in the end moving back to her hometown)

I think maybe because she was outside with no make up to cover her scar, and she wouldn't have time to apply make up to hide it. I don't think Ayana knows about Yuki's scar, just that Yuki wants to get some work done.
