Why is there a huge skip on chapters? :( other sites have up to ch51, but then they also jump to 105. I dont want to jump to 105, that's such a huge gap of missing chapters...

Edit: ah nvm! It's a direct continuation, there is no gap. They just changed the chapter numbers. Im so happy!
Thanks! You just saved me from putting this on hold while waiting for the missing chapters.

This synopsis seems misleading. It actually depicts the women renting out their bodies in question as independent and self-sufficient, rather than unfortunate victims (please don’t ask me whether that’s true irl).

If this is episodic or whatnot, can I skip volumes or does it need to be read chronologically?

I kinda like how it does away with the "victim" aspect of the situations that the beginning was leaning towards. All the girls are shallow, empty people and became like that of their free will, not because they were forced too, but because they are just generally shallow people.

Just caught up to where the TL is at (142). This is a kusomanga but it left a deep impression on my psyche.

Binged much of it in one day so I guess that means its really good imo? Definitely has some characters worth rooting for (Moe-chan, the plastic surgery obsessed woman, and the makeup guy fyi)

I know people that posted those common a long time ago about it "being the same as kanojo okarishimasu" but I could absolutely tell u that it is not like that and it is literally completely different from that story just that it has something to do with rent a girlfriend.

The reason why is that this manga is actually about the life of many Japanese young/adult woman living in japan and their daily struggles.

The description for this manga is pretty damn wrong my opinion describing this manga, because like there is literally zero romance what do u mean by bitter love story 😭, there is some but nothing really end up going. Plus it only for one of the first female MC there is literally so many more other MC in this story with their own life and struggle with different topic.

So please don't be discourage by people saying that it's gonna be like kanojo okarishimasu when it is totally not like that.

I think you would definitely enjoy it if you're very into Japanese culture and want to know more on how people live their life, this manga is so damn relevant today.

For example in volume five a character was introduced call yua who is a jirai kei girly and also a toyoko kid. What is a toyoko kid and jirai kei?

I'm just going to keep up this short. Rather making u read here some YouTube video about it

What is toyoko kid

Interviewing toyoko kid

What is jirai kei fashion

But basically this character literally show you how is life for some young people currently in Japan.

It just make me sad the fact that people missing the point and it's just judging by the name of it and the description when it is so much more than that.
