The protagonist died in hardcore way and leave the "Red Flag" character to take over. That be very cool, always thought the MC is invincible cuz without it the story will end. Even if the MC died, it will be on the finale.

eldritch horror or cosmic horror, its used to be good. A mystery to unravel, literary creative how to utilize fear, something dark and meaningful. Now it feel cheap and worthless because a lot of people copied Lovecraft and rip off from him without understanding whats make it great. I know he is not the first one to make this genre but you get what im trying to say right?. Its like backroom devolved from horror of isolation and loneliness to monster slop
