The manga got cut short, the light novel was axed and, if I remember it correctly, the web novel got dropped. Seems like we shall never know how the story should have ended.

Sorta, manga got the same ending as the LN and WN, but that was because the author dropped out the LN shortly after deleting the WN at this same point, so this never got an actual ending planned anyway

There was another work where author pulled out the same, and the manga ended up not having a proper ending either, which was the God Skill "Breathing" one

It's an adaptation of a light novel, if there's a sequel it's the author who decides that, not the mangaka. And seeing as the light novel was axed at three volumes, that's pretty unlikely...

This type of crap is why I have made it a golden rule to not read adaptations of light novels until they are complete. Then I check the comments and see if the ending is actually conclusive. Glad I did not waste my time following this. What a shame but such is the fate of most LN adaptations.

The original concept for this manga/ln was badass. A joker support when maxed can become a sage AND retains all the original spells of the previous job. Super fun. Can’t believe it’s over, though I will admit I stopped following here and there because it felt like it was lagging along. The team’s interactions with the resplendent lords was always nice, it’s a shame we didn’t get to see the sage and mage in a party together.
