Pffft, from the first chapter of this elf arc i pretty much was expecting this to happen, but it still hurts.
Everything is pretty much bullshit. So what? She is a bitch SO FREAKING jealous of her sister that decides to mind control a whole country, but everything gets solved and she turns into a good girl when she knows about what her sister did in the past? So all her childish tantrum gets solved knowing that her sister did something for her in the past? REALLY?
And then the bullshit with the father is almost as bad. So you sealed her memories because you didnt want her to suffer from losing that guy, but that guy got revived 5 seconds later and your reason for not unsealing her memories is because you are... weak of heart? FUCKING REALLY? Thats not a reason, thats the only frigging excuse the author could come up to bring up LOL
I have mixed feeling about the first arc. I mean, it was pretty good at the beginning but then he ran away leaving all his classmates being mind controlled and about to be used in a war, when not only he knows who is doing it, but he knows how its done and not only knows how to solve it but he has the means to do so xD. It was all kinda underwhelming.
Then the second arc, the dungeon where he met the elf girl is pretty good. Nothing extraordinary but good enough to keep reading the series. But this third arc... OMG, its so fucking bad.
I expect next one to be better. If not, drop and read something else. There are too many series out there to be bothered with only one.

When John's mom kill his twin brother Joey by accident, her mom become delusional and mentally broken. She is trying so much to deny the accident that she try to erase the fact she had twin. She ask a doctor to prescribe memory loss inducing medicine to John and then start to call him Joey, denying John ever existed. John's life due to this become broken until his death bed and that's where the protagonists come in, trying to go back as much as possible in his memory, blocked by that memory loss.

@Ochrolv The father is more than just the root. By wipping her memories, he made the bitch has no idea why everyone outta nowhere became so engrossed with her sister, she felt left out and became jealous of her. No denying his father was the root, but he isnt just their father but the king, yet he allowed the whole situation to escalate into the current thing without trying to stop it.
He deserves as much punishment as her in my opinion.
@pingustrategist After her sister awakened her powers everyone directed their attention towards her and because she didnt have any memory about why everyone would have any reason to be so into her sister, she felt like she was just getting all the praise because of her title as Shrine Maiden while she didnt matter how much she worked everyone ignored her.
In other words: she got jealous and became a bitch. And a bitch with so much power is freaking dangerous.

Because of what the FMC did, everyone started paying attention to her and since the bitch sister had no idea what the FMC did, she started being jealous and ended up hating the FMC because she thinks the FMC doesnt deserve all that just because of a silly title.
