I think that it would be too risky :
- First, it's supposed to be a secret and probably illegal medecine. He's already at huge risks just showing it to the lady. So having her cousin participate would mean more people knowing the situation.
Now, what would happen if his superior or his clients started looking into it? They could "interrogate" the cousin and the lady. Yeah, a bit too dangerous.
Basically, showing the medecine is already the riskiest situation he could have been in. So having multiple people knowing about it could make the secret at even more risks.
- Second, he said that it had a 7/10 success rate. Here, obviously it worked but what if it didn't work? Then he would have to dispose of both the lady and her cousin since she's a witness.
And then, having to explain the mysterious disappearance of a failure of the main family and a respected heir of the branch would be... Complicated.
In case of success, it would be suspicious af.
In case of failure, it would be suspicious af.
Anyway, he's screwed.
