I can't help but like Melida because she never gives up and because she's so cute in Kuufa's company. I especially like how she tries to maintain her countenance and bearing in embrassing situations. If you look at the bigger picture, she's such a tragic character, yet she just keeps pushing forward smiling. Kuufa is also fairly interesting. Melida is basically his way of rebelling against his own grim lot in life. It not only allows him to save someone worthy, when his usual job is to keep killing people and monsters, but it also gives him the opportunity to mess with the self-important nobles of the city.

Him and Prickly or w/e her name is, is a pretty good pairing too. Unfortunately for Prickly, he's kinda head over heels for Melida XD

Look at what that lady instructor has: chakrams. Two of them. Points on being cool but very difficult to handle imo. Using those, I'd sooner cut myself than the lycanthropes.
