Update: So.... I went a bit crazy and ordered Vol 3-4 from Jpn since I couldnt find the raws anywhere online. It might take 2 weeks to get to me, but when it comes in, if the scanlators are interest in picking up the series again, I plan to upload the raws. When I get the chance, Ill prob grab up to vol 6 when possible. Does anyone still like this series?

OK. I just got my manga from japan and a few things became clear.

First thing. Since I wasnt translating I didnt know, Vol 3 is where the last scanned chapter ends. That is the one I have. Volume 4 that I bought, is the 4th vol of the Light Novel... LOL! So, finding that out I looked online for the 4th manga volumue and it says it wont release until June something. 10 or 16th or something... So that might have something to do with no one really having it. I found vol 1-9, but it was the light novel. I was on a japanese site with little english and dont read more than a handful of japanese so the accidental buy was a given. *Sigh* So, until june, I doubt anyone will have the raws for volume 4. When it comes out I plan to buy it. At this point, I can only offer high res scans from 3 if there is a certain pic someone needed from it to do color fanart? that are very spoiler filled pics from vol 4 of the light novel. There are a few that are just fan service pieces though. The 4th vol is 330 pages roughly.

That's actually a pretty neat twist. It's kind of out of nowhere and I wasn't expecting it at all, but it still makes sense given his background. It's not often you get a reveal that wasn't foreshadowed at all but still feels somewhat natural.
Still "look at my cool OP self-insert MC" as fuck, but at least it's well-executed.

Plus it fits with the whole theme of "unwanted children," and in hindsight does a really good job of explaining why someone who's supposed to be a cold-hearted assassin would try to save Melinda — he sees himself in her.
Brush it off as "bad edgy vampire manga" if you want, but you have to respect decent writing when it's so hard to find in fantasy manga these days.

I guess the main point of this series always was Melida's struggle to get stronger (and survive), so Kuufa being OP doesn't necessarily matter as much as it would if he was the only main character. I reckon he also can't use too much power in public to avoid being recognised as a half-monster. It would have been even better if he couldn't have used his real power without transforming into the vampire shape, but that doesn't seem to be the case. He apparently showed William his real form just for the heck of it.
