You should understand that Koike Keiichi doesn't create 'pretentious' stuff. If you can't find the meaning in his series, that's on you and not on him. Blaming the creator for what he creates that doesn't appeal to your palette is pointless and a lesson in folly. You should stick to series more up your speed, hence why I referenced One Piece. Because you sound like a One Piece fan.

I supose the real tragedy of this series is that if you are sober enough to read it, then you aren't nearly high enough to comprehend it. No wonder it was canceled!
Though I do like how the characters keep looking just as bewildered as I am.
