Personally, I’m expecting/hoping for a Nanao/Asumi/Mai endgame, ideally with enough run time that the three of them get some relationship development together.

I second this. I believe Kuro sensei will give happy endings to all of her characters.

I think the most natural endgame would be "friends will be friends" and i guess girlfriends be girlfriends and that's that. So much so actually, that on tomorrow's booking she might not even do Mai and just talk and catch up. But then I remember the genre of this and realize author's more or less forced to not go with that option.
