He wasn't a bad guy. Some boys just need discipline is all. He loved his family enough to make sure they were on the right track, despite his family being so ungrateful.
Dude was at best an utterly delusional monster. He got multiple reality checks and just thought that he needs to punch his "loved ones" harder to deal with them.

I beg your pardon? You call that teaching discipline? Moron can't tell the difference between aggravated assault and corporal punishment.
My ma still slap me with her slippers when I do dangerous shit with her grandson.

He needed to teach them a lesson in a way they'd understand. When you grow up a little more and have kids yourself maybe you'll understand too. His heart before he died showed his innocence.

Is that what you think? Well let me inform you, that one of the greatest human beings in all of world history, the prophet Muhammad said "hang your whip where it can be seen by members of your household" ( see https://shamela.ws/book/13174/19428#p1 and https://sunnah.com/adab/50/25 ). Maybe you should broaden your mind before you assume. When you assume, you make an "ass" out of "u" and "me".

if you have to based your action from someone 1400 years ago, you better live back then. not today. no wonder muhammadian like you keep fightings other and among themselves. not only they tolerate violence, they embrace it. even funnier they keep blame outsider for "dividing and provoking" them. have some self aware.

muhammad? the same guy who r@ped a 6 year old no thank you pagan religions like budhsim, hindusim, shintoism, zorastrianism and even dead ones like greek paganism and egyptian paganism are way better

and whats ironic is that you are reading a manga where the MC opens the gates of "naraga" aka budhsit and hindu concept of "hell" so if you wish to abide by your religion you should stop reading this as I'm sure this would be "haram"

I hope that wasn't the author trying to inject some moral grayness into the story, like he expects us to feel bad for the guy because he was just misguided in his twisted love for his son, or whatever. I'd like to believe that it's just trying to say that he was so unbelievably far gone that he didn't ever understand what he was doing was evil, or something... but I don't know. This guy got more chapters than any of the other psychos Asura's punishes, and we're still framing it like Asura is gradually becoming a fucked up little psycho in his own way.
