Well even tho shes a Spirit shes also a kid, her not directly engaging in conflicts make Sense, the issue honestly is that the manga isnt going anywhere, after she reaches the fort ages ago the chapters are Just random problems or fluff on the fort, while that isnt a problem per se, It is a problem for a fantasy manga, which is known for world building and scenarios
While I won't even attempt to claim I remember how old the main character WAS before REINCARNATING, I must point out that this is Isekai and reincarnation. She is older than her time in this particular world.
Was she ONLY a child in Japan? Perhaps, but unless she died before the age of fifteen she would have SOME experience directly dealing with conflict.
Fighting? Physically she may be inferior, but there are other ways to directly deal with conflict, rather than watch from the sidelines. 'sides, other reincarnated or transmigrated characters have fought in battles; that she has gone for help would actually suggest a deeper and wiser understanding of her surroundings and circumstances than her physical age would suggest.

tldr: she is most likely only physically a child. Her not directly engaging in conflicts only makes sense if she is either "simply being passive" or "consciously weighing her current abilities vs the situation and deciding she can't do anything (without help)".

I’m kinda getting tired of this, protagonist feels very passive and detached from conflicts that arise, most of which feel inconsequential and easily rectifiable if characters just used their brains and mouths. Fluff can only go so far, either you commit to fluff, or you develop more meaningful conflicts you can’t have your cake and eat it too.

I think the problem in my eyes is that they just don't commit to either hard enough. I would rather they either commit to the fluff or make the problems more interesting and well thought out.

Being honest with you, while that is a flaw, im pretty sure this is only an isekai to be an easy sell early on, If you didnt say It i wouldnt have remembered at all because the Author only pointer It Out twice lol, so Thats probably why the childish behaviour is a proper trait, because the Author wanted that from the beginning

Somehow remembers me the vampires of "What we do in the sadows" detached from the world as we understand it.

What a dumb reason for a conflict, and Mil and Kugalg nearly getting injured, possibly killed bc of it smfh, dumb bish
Seeing how weird the spirit way of thinking from those we already see, i wouldn't pass that as dumb. It might work if the other party only consider power as a criteria for mate.

"Had no intention of killing them"

B***h, one of them was bleeding enough that Mil had to call her 'actual' dad. And you even tried to kill her as soon as she arrived
