Author had the perfect opportunity in this chapter, having them go to town on the sausages, yet didn't.I can just tell they're going to have the women practically all orgasm over the mind blowing taste of... plain white rice.
did you miss the saliva on the perfectly intact sausage on page 4?Author had the perfect opportunity in this chapter, having them go to town on the sausages, yet didn't.
No, I was just thinking more in scope of the usual orgies of sausage slobbering. I kinda expect the girls' reaction to rice be lukewarm.did you miss the saliva on the perfectly intact sausage on page 4?
Missing your hometown food is understandable but all these make me wonder if it's not some conspiracy theory/additives the same way ppl get addicted to soda/chips but i hear it's less common in japan/you have to go outta your way to get 'unhealthy' food or sorice obsession on manga will never not make me sigh out loud
They need some white on white rice if yenno what I'm sayinI can just tell they're going to have the women practically all orgasm over the mind blowing taste of... plain white rice.
A quick google search says that white rice is just polished brown rice. I am a bit curious about how the history of cross breeding is relevant. Did it just make it easier to polish? Could you enlighten me?I just want to say, white rice was a man made byproduct of many many years of crossbreeding different types of rice in our actual history. Seeing white rice in these manga about just suddenly finding already white rice is wild/annoying to me since it is so clear that so many authors don't look at all into the history of rice. I can get wanting rice, finding rice and even shortcutting the crossbreeding of rice in these stories using magic to speed up the process, but already have white rice is ridiculous to me, specially with it stated that rice in this world is just animal food which means there has been no need to make it white if its just going to be used by the worlds residents to feed animals.
I'm surprised there's not some 'official' channels from some established JP farming groups that'd have like a bunch of youtube channels about the process of it but i feel like all the isekai writers that do slice of life stuff even if there's cooking probably never actually lived in/visited a rice paddyA quick google search says that white rice is just polished brown rice.
