Unc is getting a second chance at being being a more supportive father.
Fiora is just in her own little world, not a care in the world enjoying her treat. lol

Thanks for the translation.

Don't get me wrong, developing as a person and recognizing your faults is part of the journey of being human, but failing with your own flesh and blood and making good with some bimbo on the side of the road instead? 😅

Yeah, this is surely redemption.

So... Let me check if I got this, she's here because she can't listen to anyone, don't want to be bossed at, and have a horrible taste on decision making. And when someone tries to advise her she just gets angry and whinny...

...And now Mc is a bad dad just because plot? And instead of help her with that unhealthy need of ignore people that care about you, he's enabling her into that contest... That she most likely just win because plot... again...

Yeah, I think I'm done.

Have a safe trip everyone else, and enjoy.

Wait a minute, how old are the girls? In chapter 3, the old man says there's almost a 20 year gap between him an Meltina. Since he's over 40, doesn't that make her over 20? Then again, she said she's 18 later on.
Anastasia is over 2x. Fatima said she's passed through an eternity of time.

yeah I also doesn't feel nice with that there, but there's nothing else he can do about his own kid, guy just want to redo the daddy, remind us we don't want to be him
:haa:

just make sure you see it through once you picked up a "stray", don't just "feed" it once and be irresponsible, guess that make you like the "hero"

Earlier flashbacks showed his daughter older; in this chapter she looked like a middle schooler. So going by that evidence, he is the cause of his own daughter resenting him by being too afraid to stand up to his wife for her future.

I don't think this is really a retcon to Daichi being a shitty father. The story established that basically everyone in his life from his coworkers to his daughter and wife used and abused him. He was portrayed as a weak willed person that never stood up for himself. Does that sound he would be the kind of person that would make a good dad? Sure we saw flashbacks of him trying to reach out to his daughter to have a connection but before this we didn't actually see him trying to be a parent. The daughter said at times like this would you at least act like a father. It stands to reason that Daichi was a weak person his whole life and that moment he remembered might be when his daughter finally gave up on him as a person.

That said that doesn't make his daughter not a shitty person. She just wasn't one yet in middle school. Normal, non-shitty people don't see a weak person being abused and go that's how I should treat them too. That said she probably turned into a shitty person because her mom was shitty and her dad was worthless.
