I'm so confused and honestly a little pissed off. 2/10 the only reason it isn't 1/10 is because I enjoyed reading it till the shitty ending which sapped all of that away.

I didn't have high expectations for this, but this ending...

I would have preferred it if they used to book to go back to the other world, and maybe take Lillian with them or smth, so they could all live happily ever after.

...The f*ck??? I adored this story but damn did it go downhill, I assume it got axed or sumn...
Anyway I suppose I'll go with the positive interpretation of the ending (or maybe I'll just be delulu and assume that they ascended to godhood together and begun protecting both worlds from similar interference in the future.)
