That was pretty good actually. Swapping out the prize value as he's "rolling" so that the best prize turns out to be something else or a date item would have worked but they made the mistake of swapping the grand prize to a junk stone then at the same time. Screwed themselves by letting the elf girl roll at the same time.

To be fair, does she know its just luck, they call him a Gacha thief after all. They probably suspect he is cheating in some way. If he was cheating this would work as any rigging would be thrown off.
But yeah vs luck its worthless.
