It was good but man why do they keep doing this with main characters where absolute none of them have a spine. You keeping having a hi I know I'm basically a god compared to everyone here but because she is a woman im instantly at a loss and should do everything she says no matter how much it's screwing meThis is a really good series. I'm going to continue paying for the official release, and I encourage everyone with the means to do so.
The main character literally got told you two did better then everyone else which made you two strong so we have put handy caps on you two but also you main character you know that special power that everyone has, you alone are not allowed to use yours plus you and that other guy have to drink this poison that's going to lower your strength to match the weakest guys here but don't its only temporary (wink wink nudge nudge ) you totally trust me right even though I walked up out of nowhere barely 20 minutes ago claiming to be a teacher even though there hasn't had a teacher this strong before at this school or ever stated that they were getting stronger teachers. While you the main character actively have people hunting you down and wanting you dead. Doesn't makes a lot of sense me what about you?It was good but man why do they keep doing this with main characters where absolute none of them have a spine. If you didn't realize each clone has will of their own(especially in the later chapters as his skill level went up), it's just shown to be in such a small scale that its barely noticable. Chances are that in the future when his skill levels up some more(probably in one of the common level thresholds like level 10, 25, 50 100 or maybe even 250 or 500 if it ever reaches that far) the clones will gain a fully functional ego/will of their own. It will definitely be pretty interesting to see the clones slow development of an ego(if you think about it humans have no ego/will of their own when they are newborn so if my guess is correct as the clones live for longer they will start to think for themselves more, similarly to a human child). My prediction is that at skill level 10 they gain a buff of some kind(for example individual awakening abilities or attributes to each of the clones) and at level 25 or so the clones will have naturally developed a will of their own(or ego)Wasted potential honestly. Anyone going into this should know that the clones are only clones physically. They have no will of their own and are essentially just bots. It would have been much more interesting if the clones each shared a will and the story was about being a hunter while having to deal with the horrifying implications of making a clone of yourself fight with and for you. The main character is also pretty boring, refusing to go through any real trials to improve himself and taking a shortcut whenever one presents itself.
The assassin's are hilariouswowzers, very good. Just caught up to ch 116 and I'd say it's honestly a lot better than most other urban fantasy manhwa. The comedy is peak, the story development is peak and I genuinely like almost every single character. Even the enemies.
yeah that may be the case later on, but as it stands there isn't anything keeping me reading right now. The main character is boring, his clones are boring, his motivations are boring, and his development is lazy. This is wasted potential. If you didn't realize each clone has will of their own(especially in the later chapters as his skill level went up), it's just shown to be in such a small scale that its barely noticable. Not really. If you think about it his development may actually be the best possible development that isn't a copy of Naruto(basically training to use clones as a weapon) the only other unique development I could think of is training to be able to fully swap bodies with clones(swapping consciousness) so he could use the powers of the clones while still having his clone have a body to use but I think the author may already do that in the future. If you think about it his way of development may seem lazy but it's more efficient then lazy as he also trains alongside his clones. If he was lazy he would just let his clones do everything and just not train at all. Though I agree that there is some potential wasted you have to admit for a single author he/she has covered a good way to use clones pretty well, not perfect but then again nobody can be perfect.yeah that may be the case later on, but as it stands there isn't anything keeping me reading right now. again the fact that you have to wait so many chapters to even see any of that development is wasted potential. Its just boring. Not really. not really. most older manga like one piece have extremely slow pacing but is still entertaining. you just have to change your point of view. if you think about it this manga isnt really "wasting potential" but more like "creating more potential" which has the added effect of increasing the difference between the potential and the current quality which makes it have an illusion of wasted potential. you cant just jump to the maximum quality as you can only grow the potential while it has not reached it. if you dont believe me take oneshots for example. oneshots normally have extremely high quality but only last for a chapter or two. when oneshots are turned into a series the pacing is slowed by a lot making it seem more slow and perhaps boring in the short term but in the long term this allows the author to add more fine details and even expand past the end of the original oneshot. just because its slow doesnt mean its bad. its like mining for gems/crystals, sure you can just dig out gems and show it to people and say "hey look its pretty shiny" but if you took the time to polish and shape the gem the gem as a whole at the end looks way better then the gem you originally uncovered.again the fact that you have to wait so many chapters to even see any of that development is wasted potential. The difference is with your one piece analogy is one piece started off strong. It’s baffling how you expect people to read dozens if not hundreds of chapters of a boring story for the promised uncertain payoff of “It gets better later bro trust me”not really. most older manga like one piece have extremely slow pacing but is still entertaining. you just have to change your point of view. if you think about it this manga isnt really "wasting potential" but more like "creating more potential" which has the added effect of increasing the difference between the potential and the current quality which makes it have an illusion of wasted potential. you cant just jump to the maximum quality as you can only grow the potential while it has not reached it. if you dont believe me take oneshots for example. oneshots normally have extremely high quality but only last for a chapter or two. when oneshots are turned into a series the pacing is slowed by a lot making it seem more slow and perhaps boring in the short term but in the long term this allows the author to add more fine details and even expand past the end of the original oneshot. just because its slow doesnt mean its bad. its like mining for gems/crystals, sure you can just dig out gems and show it to people and say "hey look its pretty shiny" but if you took the time to polish and shape the gem the gem as a whole at the end looks way better then the gem you originally uncovered.
