Might be easier to say I'm just lazy but I've been playing this mobile idle game... that only runs when its window is active. I usually watch videos autoplaying on PIP because that way I don't need to click on the floating window a lot.
Lately I've been missing the manhwas I left on hold for the game, it would be great to be able to fry my brain faster lol multitask on entertainment on my free time.

I saw a recently bumped suggestion thread mentioning how annoying it is to continuously rub the mouse wheel when reading long strip series on PC. An autoscroller feature limited to the vertical mode would've been a great solution for that, so I'm bumping this thread for that reason and totally not for my nefarious purposes.

Pinging the overlords @BraveDude8 @TR @

I found some javascript in bookmatklet form that worked well for my purposes but not with the desktop use case. (I quit playing that idle game, don't need one anymore) These scripts vary a lot in configurability, some need manual changing, one has a dozen buttons with different set speeds, others break when fiddled or can't even be stopped.

What about making one that's MangaDex Approved ™ with maybe 3 buttons to control the speed?

  • Z: Almost pausing (for reading the text)
  • X: Medium-low speed (for panning, getting more of the panel into view)
  • C: Very fast (for tension, replacing touch inputs from the thumb on fast-paced sequences)

Bump, please consider this suggestion :boomer:

Autoscroll limited to vertical mode, with configurable (or multiple preset) velocities. Would help so much for reading on desktop.

Thanks :hearts::win:
