No more edgy and angsty revenge-oriented MC."It's time to conclude this revenge."
Ur over exaggerating omgNo more edgy and angsty revenge-oriented MC.
MC has become a generic hero.
He even had "letting the past go," "I wanna save the heroine," and "the power of love/friendship" moments.

Yeah, because we never saw it before, the heroes are actually assholes and the guy who begins with an evil personality for revenge is actually the good guy for taking the bad heroes down. Whether you want to admit it or not, this just another boring generic trash trope that was overdone a gazillion times. Not saying this is a masterpiece but it’s at least going in a more interesting direction than “making a harem out of school children for ‘revenge’ ”.

I agree that this manga was never a masterpiece. But at the start there was no harem involved. MC just wanted to exploit Idly as a tool of revenge rather than "making a harem." He was portrayed as a cruel person fixated on revenge, who would use even love and lust as tools of revenge.I just think it’s more interesting than where it started.

Then author made him fall in love with Idly and waver about his revenge. Weak human mentality. But he wanted to go back focusing on his revenge after his defeat. That's why he sexed Idly, to use her as a bait.
Then in this chapter author made him let go his revenge (he said he was happy if he could just reunite with demon queen) before letting go of his love with the demon queen because he loves Idly.
At the last part of the chapter, MC who now is free from the "burden" of past, become a good guy who saves the heroine from her evil dad. Cliche hero stuff.
That's fine, you can keep company of the three people that would still read this generic, cliché, Deus Ex Machina-pulling storyThe plan (initially) was to use the children of the heroes in order to kill them. The chances of any of them not being daughters are pretty slim given the genre. So I feel comfortable saying the at the start the plan was to gather a harem of teen girls to kill their parents.
Which is fine but not interesting enough to me to keep reading, this is. Not going to argue taste with you.

I feel like this somewhat ignores the chap 0 prologue we've seen already, because he's still an angsty edgy guy collecting shards of the demon queen after this. Tbh I feel like the "it's time to conclude this revenge" line is just a weird TL, supposed to be specifically meaning this revenge plot involving Idly, and not that he's quitting his revenge entirely. No more edgy and angsty revenge-oriented MC.
