Then why would scanlators leave the site before the C&Ds? It's not like anyone is going to bother with niche manga like this

We had a series taken down, and they've since put a checkbox front and centre of the upload page asking you to confirm you have the copyrights to publish the series on the site. From MDex's perspective it's definitely just a measure to cover their asses, but I'm not interested in going along with it.

That said, I don't care what people do with my uploads so long as they don't remove any pages or credit. If people want to take my uploads from elsewhere and put them back onto MDex, that's fine with me. But I won't personally be uploading here.
