Just want to say this is pure conjecture it is been show how strongly the magic is tired to the character and your just saying it was poped off by a magic needle. (there is also a bunch of other stuff like discarding other facts, quickly going in for the confession, and more.

All his life achievements and connections are gone hes nothing but a superfluous copy.

This is obviously going to end with the male matsuri being the fake or both of them being "2 sides of the same coin" or whatever so everything returns to normal because otherwise this would be like the ending of the story lmao.

Why are you taking the most insane definition of personhood as fact? Having the original body should not give one Matsuri exclusive rights to their identity when both have the same memories and personality.

Even if girl Matsuri isn't legally entitled to their physical possessions (as much as a teenager has that their parents won't replace), they should be acknowledged for social connection up to the divergence. They're still Suzu's friend, Seigen's grandchild, etc
And asking these questions is exactly what makes things interesting.
