@KoDoge I am annoyed by people who are obsessed with one genre and look for it in any extraneous title. If someone loves yuri and just reads it to find out whether it will be there or not, then this is their business and not my problem. Everything is simple. I myself am a toxic asshole, so I understand this, lol.

@SuperOniichan I understand the annoyance, but its not like this manga is just another battle shounen or ecchi romcom that yuri fans are reading too much into. There are two girl (kinda) main characters with at least one romantically interested in the other. I certainly can't blame people for seeing an opportunity there.

I saw something similar like this (the post genderbent bathroom scene) happen in Misfile, but at least Ash had just woken up. Matsuri doesn't have that excuse. Okay, is Suzu just an idiot or devoid of a self-preservation instinct? That exorcist ninja gear looks great on Matsuri! Just drown that fucking demon cat or inject it full of any poison. Or drown that damned thing in a poison. Matsuri is a real hero, accepting staying female if it means he can protect people. I really hope this series goes down the yuri route, especially because that is far too rare in gender bender stories.

@KoDoge This manga is literally a generic shinto-focused action shonen, to which yuri bait GB was added for originality. As I said above, the interest of yuri fans in this work was expectedly obvious, but it still remains too excessive.

Search for isekai or fantasy LN tagged GB on Baka-Tsuki. I think you will find at least 4-5.

GB hijinks will be fun for a while, but only if the situation catalyzes a reinvigorated close relationship between Matsura and Suzu. Emphasis on "for a while." Matsura needs to be male again a few chapters from now. At least make him switch back and forth a la Ranma.

switching back and forth (randomly most likely) is definitely going to happen, since it'll increase possibility for fanservice.
the TG elements are light but seems to be including more with this chapter, which is nice. Also really underlined the yuri potential clearly with that one thigh page. Ending will 100% be with him as a girl or him changing back and forth and the femMC liking it.
Would like some more clearer chapter-by-chapter plot, such as the MC being part of the 'friend group' as Chp 2 ended on. Tons of details are being thrown at the reader and it should probably lay things out a little neater. Also, their friendship should probably be a big focal point - they aren't strangers or reluctant partners etc, but really close friends, which is a cool strength of the title.

I have to agree with SuperOniichan here. Might be unrelated, but some yuri mangas with good plot like Otherside picnic sometimes has a lot of people focusing on the yuri stuff while ignoring the entire plot. People like that annoy me, it is like they can't see anything other than the thing they want to see. You want yuri, ok, whatever. But enjoy the whole manga instead of just the yuri stuff please, it is telling the author that the manga has nothing interesting for you aside from the yuri.
