I actually thought this was MTL as it is lacking some nuance (especially in the way the girl speaks) but anyway, I'll definitely continue to follow this story so keep up the good work!

I've picked out a few points for improvement if you ever want to redo this chapter more cleanly one day, general remarks:

• Avoid long "................." lines, usually "..." works just fine.
• Mind the text order & splitting during typeset to fit speech bubbles sizes (p5 empty bubble, p11 & 14 inverted bubbles, p15 too much text + doesn't fit, p20 first bubbles could be better balanced)

I think MTL's result is good on that for 95% of the chapter, but some misses are enough to make the overall result less satisfactory.

A few notes to help readers:
p13: untranslated text 違う人だよきっと... (Chigau hitoda yo kitto) => It must be a different person...
p15 profile book:

• Azami Yako, 2nd Year Class A
• Text next to PP: lit. "real eyes", but it could be a pun and translates as "real me" since 目 sounds like "me"?
• Nickname: Yacchan (or Ya-chan)
• Friends: none lol
• Hobbies (partially readable): drawing
• Love talk is... (OK) - I love love talk!!
• My favorites: food: karaage + tartar sauce, music: vocaloid (OC are so cute!)
• My image: I'd say it's unique!

eh, its fine to dig for gold so long as you actually fall for them for real. Which the synopsis seems like it is about (like, if the synopsis seems real, then his way of gold digging is just moving to an environment where a rich target exists, and trying to be aware of them as the opposite gender and a romantic candidate. And hope chemistry lucks out in his economical favour).

I see problems with her [as a potential partner].
1. she does not look at all like the picture, so it is probably a case of mistaken identity (not a problem with her as an individual since she did not give them the picture, so much as it is with him though).
2. she doesn't know she is engaged to him (again, not a problem with her as an individual, but rather her family who never informed her she was engaged. Like a romcom protagonist once their parents leave for an overseas trip for 3 years).
3. In some frames she seems like a slob who leaves used tissues out on her schooldesk. Unsanitary.
4. She seems to be emitting/leaking some toxic black gas, in some frames. Can't be healthy to breathe in.

The plots about soft rice eaters(sons-in-law who had old arranged marriages in stronger family, mainly because at some point their parents helped immensely or were rich/influental like here, and their wive is a gold by herself versus a loser) aren't that uncommon in chinese manhuas, especially in ancient setting, some of those are really good and even trashy ones not THAT cringe. Yet this japanese thingie in a modern capitalistic setting gives such a pathetic vibes I've never seen before, even if MC is good-natured deep inside and later would behave humanely and not so egoistically, the damage to his reputation in the eyes of reader was already done, and a big one.
