What lie exactly are you talking about cause the lie in this chapter got fixed if you were reading properly cause he told her that it was a lieHate to be a party pooper but you cant have a genuine relationship with someone if it is based on a lie and while the mc is wrong for lying about his reason for being with her, I feel it is the mother who shares the bulk of the blame for essentially forcing him into this situation and making him keep up the lie in the first place. I'm sure yako will be more devastated once she learns the truth than had they been honest from the beginning.
The lie that he is actually her fiancé and that he is only doing it for the money. What lie exactly are you talking about cause the lie in this chapter got fixed if you were reading properly cause he told her that it was a lie![]()
I mean he’s not doing for the money he really wants to try and fall in love with her that I think written in the first chapter and well the finance thing is a bit hard to clear cause yako would go crazy so it’s natural not to tell herThe lie that he is actually her fiancé and that he is only doing it for the money.
I mean, last chapter he told the mother that if she didn’t want to burden her daughter she shouldn’t be going with the engagement thing. The lie that he is actually her fiancé and that he is only doing it for the money.

Specifically, he IS doing it for the money, but he is also genuinely trying to find a way for all parties to be happy.I mean he’s not doing for the money he really wants to try and fall in love with her that I think written in the first chapter and well the finance thing is a bit hard to clear cause yako would go crazy so it’s natural not to tell her
I think while he originally accepted because of the money, he intends to pursue her genuinely and does sincerely enjoy being around her and care about her for the most partThe lie that he is actually her fiancé and that he is only doing it for the money.
He very much still wants the money as he intends to repay his uncle for taking care of him.I think while he originally accepted because of the money, he intends to pursue her genuinely and does sincerely enjoy being around her and care about her for the most part
He is doing for the money, but he don't consider himself her fiancé yet, like he said he will only go through it when he actually falls in love with her, and then it will not be a lie, sure, it started with a weird reason but the one to blame on it is her mom and I think he also thought if it was not him it would be someone else in the end.The lie that he is actually her fiancé and that he is only doing it for the money.
The main lier here is her mother, he can't just trample her mother decisions, not at this moment at least. He very much still wants the money as he intends to repay his uncle for taking care of him.
I don't think it would be too much of a stretch to say that if he had originally went up to Yako and told her his home situation and how he genuinely wants to pursue a relationship with her, that she would accept that much better, than for it to come out that he and her mother had been lying and manipulating her to "spare her feeling pressured". That to me seems very condescending.
