Hi all! This is my first manga scanlation, and probably the only one I'll do. The 2009 print of Azumanga Daioh hasn't been translated by anyone yet, so I thought I'd take it upon myself to do so. This isn't necessarily my field of expertise, so I'd appreciate any feedback you'd have! Note that only volume 1 is done so far; I'm working on volumes 2 and 3, so you should see those sometime in the future. Also in the original version on page 17 bottom panel the other students commented "pedophile" about the teacher... I wonder if that was redacted?

Either way, that's one way to bypass the "no licensed stuff" rule. Nice

Re: page 17, yeah, that was taken out even in the Japanese version. I assume it was down to Azuma's personal decision, he doesn't seem fond of making jokes like that anymore. (He took out a few Kimura gags later on, too.)
