My favourite cake is cheesecake! I like how consistently creamy it is when done well. I also like the mix of sweet with a note of sour from the cream cheese/curd.

Might also have to do with the fact that I am autistic and like foods with predictable flavours and textures.

while we're talking about cake i love chocolate fondant (yk the cake with the runny core) in a way that it's the only cake i can think about but i do like food like that (i also kouign amman but that's literally ⅓bread crust ⅓ half salted butter and ⅓ sugar cause when translated from breton it literally means butter cake)

Ohhhhh, that one is so good. Reminds me of the one time my mom's ex made black n' white brownies with dark and white chocolate. They were so good, but very runny at the core. Pure decadence.
