when I was a teenager back in the 90s, first getting into manga and anime, I wanted bloody sci-fi fantasy girls with guns cyborg killer robot shit. ghost in the shell. gunnm. fist of the north star. speed lines and exploding heads.

now I am middle aged. I am tired and fragile. I do not want any more violence and thrills in my entertainment. what I want? this. this is my shit. cute kids camping out at toll road rest stops. hook this to my fuckin veins. seriously.

I want bloody sci-fi fantasy girls with guns cyborg killer robot shit and with yuri. most modern sci-fi is just not really good, imaginative or original enough for me, and not enough yuri.
