@Purplelibraryguy I don't know why you are okay with this. Japanese is another language to English and you need to actually bring that language and all of its nuances over to English. You can't half ass it, you can't just kind of get it. "Translating it" needs to convey everything that the author intended, if it doesn't, you're disrespecting the author and the hard work that they put into the series. This is clearly a MTL, the sentences are not just grammatically incorrect, or in other cases that it doesn't make sense at all, but it's just completely wrong. If you're a weeb veteran how are you okay with this? The translation is objectively worse on every level, this person is disrespecting the author... what what? To piss off FA?
I can't believe that your justification for defending an objectively worse scanlation on every metric is that, it isn't on this website. Like you can't type fa in your browser, that is just toooo much work for you. For gods sakes he didn't even bother redrawing anything. He doesn't care about the series, nothing about any of the editing suggests that any effort at all went into it. You're bragging about how much manga you've read, wouldn't you prefer if the manga that you did read was the level of FA and not of this other dudes? Imagine how much of the nuance of every series you've read you've completely missed because either the translator just didn't care or didn't understand the language to translate it enough. I do not understand this sentiment AT ALL. I'm sure they have their reasons for leaving this site, this "well you're not on here, so fuck you" attitude is just stupid. MD doesn't own english manga, it is their right to restrict viewership to their site, the product is better, so reading an objectively worse version of the manga, of which you're supposed to be a big fan of for the sole reason that it is not on this site is very perplexing to me.
