The first 3 targets have been fast, and although I can't say much for 2 of the new characters, it will take a long time for them all to be captured. But there are new enemies ahead and the plot offers some strange twists later on, he also has to search for his surviving family, considering his older brother and younger sister did not appear alongside his dead parents.

But yea, for those who are wondering in that revenge. The hero got revenge from a female scientist character like the one here by essentually forcing her to drink her own potions and poisons (they were the same) and watch her scramble to get the antidote for that poison. Then essentually strap her back on a chair and do the entire thing again but a different poison...until she finally dies after about 4+ hours of doing that.

I'm fairly sure you are talking about "Fukushuu wo Koinegau Saikyou Yuusha wa, Yami no Chikara de Senmetsu Musou Suru" Specifically; Chapters 12 through 19.
Honestly, I do think it was one of the best arcs in that manga.

So I can understand why people think this revenge is underwhelming as there were many missed opportunities.

To be fair though, anyone that wanted revenge on her passed on once free from the spirit dragon. And they were in a dungeon so can't use any resurch against the scientist character.

I do think this revenge is very lackluster, HOWEVER! There are several points I would like to remind everyone of:
1: That his previous acts of revenge were planned and executed after thorough research and planning. This revenge was something that was a spur of the moment.
2: In fact, they didn't even know for sure that Shion was alive at all when they got to the dungeon. PLUS until they were in the boss room they didn't know how long Shion would continue to live. Any revenge is better than none at all right?
3: That 'Hell's Gate' Gets more Horrible and painful based on how much pain and evil you did to others. As evil as Garu and Sasha are, how much individual, that is to say, 'Personal suffering' did they cause? Some? Yes. But Shion's must dwarf theirs by Tens of thousands of times over or more. 'Hell's gate' was basically made for people like Her. Few if any would suffer more from that card than Her.
4: Who said it was over? Yes yes, 'eternal suffering', AND? Light never said it would be done with this. To be sure about that we will have to wait.
That's all I can think to say at this point. Take it or leave it.

The Dark Elf, the Ghoul and Centaur races are new. This means that this Dark Elf saga is exclusive to the Light Novel.
As the revenge went on, with 6 targets/nations, you could say that, having gotten "influence" on 4 of them, the other 2 remaining will be in the minority in regards to decisions and support.

But with the LN adding 3 more races, it should take longer for such events to be reached, thus, the LN and manga are likely to take even longer to reach some of the turning points of the WN.

That's why I warn against thinking that the remaining targets will be dealt with as fast as these first 3.

Next Arc should be a flashback arc, then the Human Kingdom (So no revenge targets appear for 2 whole arcs), and the following one should be the Dwarf Kingdom (So we get a revenge target here) from what I vaguely remember the author commenting on the new volumes of the LN.

I'm reading the raws, so it's the source material in Syosetu. Obviously it's not in English.

Otherwise, you can check novelupdates for fantranslated chapters, I did read them initially, but they were basically only up to the first arc, so I ended up moving to the raws that are significantly far ahead.

The pacing for me is fine, other situations are happening along the road to revenge and I don't feel like too much time is wasted, only the main fights are generally more than a couple of chapters. It's pretty standard for the genre and page length I think. I would assume each revenge would take longer as they climb the levels of the races and more info about the [Master] and the world come to light. If it was just 10 chapters -> revenge the story would get stale fast and leave no room for world or character building. I enjoy it for what it is anyway, thanks for the uploads.

It was less elaborate cuz of the circumstances. He had prep time for the other 2 (well, more for the light elf, the wolf was just a dumbass), the dark elf was a rush job cuz of the dungeon showing up and the big problem with the soul dragon

Yeah, you can tell author ran into the limits of their imagination, trying to avoid that path. The whole thing starts to shrink into that cube, right about the time you start to see tentacles shoved down her throat, and start migrating elsewhere.
