I had to do a read back through the early chapters because I thought I was getting spun around by what the anime was adapting. But after going back I’m pretty sure basically everything is from vols 1-3. The one big exception I caught is they adapted ch 41.1 from vol 4 “The story of a junior who was liked by a troublesome senior”.

Nikumaru also played up on Twitter that ep 6 and especially the part D post credits scene for “Suzukaze-san wants to be by her side” was super important for the future of the story.

IMO it’s pretty clear that Bad Girl, which started out more focused on Yuu specifically, shifted to really being about the love triangle between Yuu -> Atori -> Suzu -> Yuu with Yuu and Suzu sharing protag duties while still being a gag manga. Yuu is the main protag and she is the MC for her relationship with Atori and most stuff involving rest of the cast. Suzu is the protag for Suzu x Yuu and Atori x Suzu stories.

That being said, I’m pretty sure Nikumaru actually likes Yuu as a character. I really have a hard time thinking it’ll go full NTR. Not because it hasn’t been teased

and just wait until vol 5 when they just start bashing you in the face non stop with Atori x Suzu

. But I don’t think Yuu is gonna get cucked because if she does it would be incredibly mean-spirited.

That's what I was thinking. Suzu x Atori moments are weirdly getting more frequent and more serious. Its been bothering me.

I have seen Nikumaru's other works. It can go in that direction, but most likely not.

Yeah, generally they play safe, I would have mixed feelings if took unexpected direction
