This has become my most anticipated read overnight, thank you for scanalating! I am very interested to see if Mary wants Seon romantically or if she just wishes Seon would be like a pet.

She just wants to control and possess her. These types of manipulative people would even gaslight themselves into loving you if it means they own you.

Think about it. She did everything she could to isolate her. Now she failed, and she's about to move on. But Mary is gonna use her sister to try and get a hold of her again.

The fucked up thing is that this is quite possibly a circle of violence. Mary gets beaten up once in a while, she's just taking it out in those she considers as weaker than her.

Fujimoto approves.

That’s probably true but I want to see if there’s character development for Mary beyond wanting to just control her. Korean webtoons tend to have bullying as a very normal thing and they often try to garner sympathy for characters like Mary somehow.

I don't think Mary is irredeemable.

After all, the girl on the wheelchair fortunately didn't die.

But it would be a stretch to say that she could wholeheartedly get back together with homegirl. Even as friends.

The path that Mary has to walk in order to be a redeem herself is one she has to walk alone... Just as the victims of her past actions have.

We are also still lacking context on her side of things too. So, we'll see.
