@gandung777 tanya is neither a fascist or a warmonger, she is a pro capitalist who do everything to survive (and by that i mean do everything so she can hide behind a desk) .
But if you have this kind of feeling it is simply made by the meme (let be honest) and the period in time who was really really nationalist (wich led to the two war).
As for the author himself (and for following him on twitter i can confirm that this is not a legend) he is pretty left wing but he is passionate by the war machine and military dress of the time period, wich mean that is production will follow that passion
