man this was one of the first anime I've ever watched and to this day I remember how god like it was, this is the perfect doorway to ecchi genre.
10/10 for the nostalgia, still a high 8 if you don't consider the nostalgia factor, one of the best ecchi manga hands down, also my first trap crush was Hideyoshi even though it was reverse trap.
EDIT: Ah I just realized why it was so god like, it's because it's the same author of Grand Blue, no wonder the comedy was actually some of the best not your typical booba ecchi comedy

While the series only goes until chapter 30 here, it does continue until chapter 71 on other sites and Japanese raws can be found online. Having read those and my word the ending is a colossal dissapointment. The entire story overall wasn't really funny, since the art was too lacking to make the jokes stand out. Yoshii's hairstyle is hideous throughout while the romance goes nowhere to my great frustration. Meanwhike the summoner system, or the school's logic in general, is never explained so every arc feels random. The story became a chore by the end rather than something to enjoy, and the ending was a genuine insult. It may have been an ax but I honestly doubt it since the author could have done the ending at any point in the story.
